A sad day...

Today, my little great-nephew, Kyle, is celebrating his one year birthday in Heaven. He only weighed 1/2 lb. and was 8 3/4" long when he was born one year ago today. He had Potter's syndrome, or basically no kidneys. My niece was going to carry him as long as God allowed, even knowing he couldn't live after birth, but she went into the beginning of kidney failure herself (she is a diabetic with only one kidney), and it was medically necessary to deliver him. I wonder what he would have been like and know how much I would (and do) love him. Happy Birthday, baby Kyle. Aunt Sa-Sa misses you and sends her love on angel wings to Heaven.

I'm so sorry about your loss. Some day you and your niece will be reunited with Kyle and you'll get to know him as you weren't able to on earth.

I came by to thank you for entering the SAS-y pride contest and for adding our blinkie to your blog.

((hugs))

My second son was born to heaven on July 15, 2006. So I can completely sympathize with your niece and her family. I am so sorry that another family has to experience the same pain as we did on that awful day. Kyle's purpose in life will come to be known by your niece and her family one day. I will pray for their peace.
