Happy, Happy Thanksgiving Freebies!

Well, gals, my freebies have been MIA for a whole month...and I'm so sorry but my health issues took precedence for awhile.  What a rough Autumn I had!  However, I'm now back and you are all stuck with me!  LOL

First, I want to wish everyone who celebrates a Happy Thanksgiving.  For those in other countries who do not celebrate this US holiday, please join us in having a grateful and thankful heart tomorrow (and, hopefully, every day).  I am so thankful to be alive!

Secondly, I am re-releasing an old kit from 2006, plus an add-on from 2007.  I really like this kit, if I say so myself!  LOL

Here is Victorian Thanksgiving:

This is a layout I made from the kit way back in 2007.  The pictures are my niece, her husband and her two oldest kids.  These are the kids I just spent last Saturday with doing Christmas crafts and Taylor is the great-niece going to the Adam Lambert concert with me in 11 days!  Little Wes (Wesley III) is not so little anymore, but he told me he doesn't mind still being called by that name.  They sure have grown up!  Check out the post below this one for current pictures.

Victorian Father's Day Layouts

Here's a couple layouts I made using "Victorian Father's Day."  The images are my stepfather (who passed away in March), my Mama and me.  I finally have been able to put some of my feelings about Mel and his influence on me to pen by writing him a letter.

Here's the layouts:

Thanks for looking.  I'd love to see your layouts that you make with my kits.  If you post them in a gallery, let me know and I'll go and give you heaps of praise!

Blessings,

Layout Shares!

Good Monday evening!  I actually made a couple layouts in the middle of the night last night!  I'm still not feeling or sleeping very good, so I was up all night and slept all day...LOL.  Of course, this isn't that unusual for me!  Thought I'd share the layouts with all of you to prove that I actually DO scrapbook and not just design!!!

The first is of my youngest great-nephew, Frankie.  He's such a doll.  The pictures are from a couple months ago.  He has a very full head of hair and big and bright blue eyes.  I used designs from Pixel Scrapper's "Oh, Baby Baby" mega collab bundle.  The background, hanging monkey, sock monkey I put on the frame, and the frame itself (re-colored) are from Sheila Reid; the alpha and buttons are from Melo Vrijhof; and the pin and monkey cluster is from Elif Sahin.  Here it is:

Next, I did a layout using my own "Eileen B." kit with pictures of the one and only, original Eileen B.  You may download the freebie kit if you scroll down a couple posts.

Hope you enjoyed this glimpse into my world...and don't forget you may click on the images for a better view.

Freebie Share - Pixel Scrapper April 2015 Blog Train

Hey there, everyone.  I finally finished my contribution to Pixel Scrapper's April Blog Train - Reflections.  My contribution is named "Mirror Reflections" and, as the name suggestions, takes it's inspiration from mirrors.  CU product credits are included in the TOU included in the papesr zip.  Here are the previews (click on them for a better look) and the links are below are the previews:

And here are the links (Dropbox):

I hope you enjoy this HUGE freebie kit and don't forget to check out the rest of the parts of the blog train at Pixel Scrapper!  There's some great stuff there.

Here is my beautiful great-niece, Jenna, who was my inspiration for this kit.  I love her lots and lots.

I intend to do an alpha, more word arts, and some other things like clusters, etc.  I just ran out of time as I was in the hospital for a week.  I know, same old same old.  I hate it.  As always, I appreciate constructive criticism and if you find any of those ole' nasty stray pixels, please let me know!

Blessings,

Sally

I Finally Did Some Scrapping!

I haven't done much actual scrapping lately, but did make a few layouts...some for friends but a couple for me. I thought I would share one of them with you so you didn't think I was not ... horrors ... a REAL scrapbooker! Tee Hee. The layout is one of my baby sister, Susie, with her beloved Puppy Girl. I used Atomic Cupcake's Puppy Love kit. That doggie is something else. I don't think I've ever known a dog who chases rocks the way she does. You read right...ROCKS! Don't bother throwing toys or anything else. All she wants to play with is rocks. Silly girl! It doesn't do much for the baseboards!

BTW, if you haven't visited Atomic Cupcake for a while, her "all you can download" pricing is ending on February 1st. After that everything will be a la carte. Check out her website for details. I purchased her actions & templates so I have lots of new stuff to play with when designing for YOU!

Also, I have decided to do some new Valentine's elements for all you faithful bloggers who already had my kit from last year. It just wasn't sitting right with me not to offer you something new. So....stay tuned! I won't give you a deadline since I can't seem to make any of them, but I will promise it will be before Valentine's Day. LOL

Have a good one,
Me

Victorian Valentine Layout

Hi all. Here's a layout that Patricia from my Creative Team made using my Victorian Valentine kit. It's her and her grandson from some time ago. He's becoming a strapping young man now! Great job, Pat. It's always a thrill for me to see my designs in use! Thanks for sharing.

Want to win my Victorian Christmas Angel Kit?

I'm having a contest! I will be offering my Victorian Christmas kit from last year again; however, I'm creating an additional kit featuring Victorian Christmas Angels that will be for sale. Want to win it??

A while back I did a challenge at DSO and created a layout about me. It wasn't easy because I usually don't scrap myself. I used Jeanne Baechtold's "Refreshing Meadow" kit. Here it is:

I was thinking that I'd like to get to know my blog visitors a little better so I'm having a contest to do just that. To enter, all you need to do is create a layout about yourself and submit it to me. I will ask my creative team (Patricia and Judy) to help me judge the entries. Here's the rules:

1. Use any designer you like, just make sure you credit the designers whose products you used.

2. Include information about yourself. This can be anything you feel you want to share: where you live, your career, your likes or dislikes, etc.

3. The layout should reflect what you consider your personal scrapbooking style to be.

4. Have your layout to me before December 15th.

That's it for the rules! The layouts will be judged on overall design and creativity. I'll post as many entries as I can on this blog -- I'm sure I won't get hundreds of them so I should be able to post most of them! LOL

I hope to get to know some of you better! Send you layout to me at wingedheartohio.blogspot.com. Can't wait to see them and good luck!

Blessings,
Sally

Freebie Quick Page & a Layout

Hi everyone. Hope you survived shopping!! The newest member of my Creative Team, Judy aka BabyDoe, has made a quick page using my Victorian Thanksgiving kit...and she's sharing it with all of you! Here's the preview:

You can get it here. The password is "thanks."

I spent Thanksgiving with my niece and her family. The kids were a riot! I think they'd eat anything if it had Cool Whip on it!! LOL Of course, I took pictures and I also made a layout using my kit. Here it is:

Check back tomorrow PM. I finished my contribution for the Christmas Around the World freebie kit and I'll post the previews. It won't be available until the 10th but you get a sneak peak of my part. Of course, I couldn't stop myself and made a complete kit -- a little over 100 mb! I think I have a disorder or something, maybe megaitis or something like that. Anyone heard of it???? ROFLMBO

Blessings, as always,

Dottie's Layout & Message for Pooh Bear

Pooh Bear, I sent you my email address and added a note here (to the right) giving it. I really appreciate your mentioning you couldn't find it since it wasn't there!! LOL I haven't yet received your page, but would LOVE to see it!!!

Here's a layout another of my blog visitors, Dottie, made using the Victorian Halloween kit:

She says:
"This dog belonged to a pumpkin vendor at a herb festival I attended last weekend. Cute huh? Thank you for the kit".

Thank YOU, Dottie, for sharing your very cute layout!!! It is very sweet of you.

Check back tomorrow everyone, I'm pretty sure the new freebie mini kit and the kit for sale will be up!!! It's turned into quite the mega kit. I would sincerely appreciate it if you would consider purchasing it and hope you'll like the freebie kit. It's not Victorian, but I am very happy with the way it has turned out...and feel it's is a bit different than most fall kits, IMHO! Next will be the Victorian Thanksgiving freebie kit! Stay tuned...

Blessings,
Sally
